In part 3 we looked at Genesis 1:27, Exodus 15:26 and 3 John 1:2, which tells us of God's will for
HEALING and His promises. Today I want to look at Faith in God's Word. How do we obtain it and where it comes from.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of
himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the
measure of faith.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He
is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
God tells us that Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Heb 11:1 and
that we increase our faith by hearing the Word of God Romans 10:17. In Proverbs 4:20-22 He tells
us to keep His Word in our hearts, before our eyes and in our ears for they are life and health to our bodies.
Your faith is the key to receiving from God as seen in Hebrews 11:6 without faith it is impossible to please
God and He rewards those that seek after Him. Our God is so great and merciful he gives us the measure of
faith Romans 12:3 that can move mountains Matthew 17:20. He tells us in His Word with faith
only the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains in our lives; those may be sickness or disease. We
must study God's Word to build our faith so we can walk in victory 1 John 5:4 over everything that comes against us.
Faith must be put into action James 2:17-22. Look at the following scripture and see that faith can produce
healing and much more: Matthew 8:1-17; 9:18-35; Mark 5:34; 9:23; 10:51-52; Luke 8:48-50; 17:19 and 18:42. These
are only a few samples and I invite you to read all four Gospels . . . Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to truly begin to know
Jesus and the works He did. We are to WALK BY FAITH 2 Corinthians 5:7. Faith permits and causes
God to act in our behalf. God's Word works when we confess it with our mouth in faith and stand on that confession
until the results come, then we shout in victory to the glory of God. God never fails to do what He said in His Word
He would do. The choice is yours . . . chose life and blessing Deut 30:19.
